Trying to get Resolve 17 Beta to work - what a nightmare!

Sorry about the dramatic topic but I just bought the DaVinci Resolve 17 Beta. And at first everything seemed to work smoothly.

On my setup the program asked me something about the location of my cache file. I changed that to the root of my internal drive (D:/). After that I cannot get the program to work. The program gets stuck on "looking for control surface"

I did uninstall after this and deleted all my cache files. It didnt help also during the installation I got a message that I have no more activation keys left. Does this mean I cannot install it on my second computer? How does reinstalling the software cause this?

Please update your user registration to your full real name.

The activation key count will auto reset so that’s not the issue.

Try installing v17.9 again and if u can’t get it to run generate logs as per the faq info, post a link here along with your full system details
