(FIXED)My video runs in Davinci but not after render

I've been using Davinci Resolve for a little over half a year now and have been loving it thus far. I've recently encountered an error though and my searches are pulling up the wrong issues, probably my bad ability to search so sorry if this is a repost, couldn't find this asked elsewhere though.
Anyways, my issue. I've got a video I've spent a few days editing, really am proud of it but.... when I render it the final product is blank. Like, I mean entirely blank. I've rendered it a few times and the file size is always somewhere around 22mb, but not always the same which is really small for a 39 minutes video at 1080p. when I click on the video to play it I get taken to a black screen in the video player, but don't have the play/pause buttons or even a progress bar available. I've rendered the video via the quick export in the top right using H.264 and via queuing under the youtube tab again in H.264. I've turned the whole thing into a compound clip cause I thought that might help... it didnt. The strange thing is, the video runs great in Davinvi, it's just when I export it that I get a problem.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks ya'll!
Fixed: It was an issue with my compound clips. I removed my compound clips and then rendered it again and it worked.
