Issue with deleting tracks

PostThu Feb 18, 2021 7:13 pm

I'm a new user and using Resolve 16. The solution on my issue might be simple, but I couldn't find it in the forum or google :(

I have multiple video/audio tracks. When I delete part of a video from the timeline of track one, part of the other tracks also is being cut, even though I've selected only the video I want to delete from track one. This happens in "Cut" and "Edit" tabs. I'd like the other tracks to not be affected when I cut a video from the timeline.

May I suggest to first do the basic training freely available from BM?
I can assure you that you wish can be fulfilled once you understood the concept.

As a new user, your first course of action should be to complete some Resolve training. The Beginner's Guide and Advanced Editing are an excellent groundwork to get you moving smoothly. ;)

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
