Bug: Problem reports cannot be sent -log attached

PostFri Feb 19, 2021 12:43 am

I've had Resolve crash a few times, and it obediently asks me if I want to send a crash report to DaVinci, which I diligently say yes to.

The problem is, Resolve never seems to be able to find a network connection and the crash report cannot be sent. Seems a bit ironic, no?

Exact error is "Unable to connect. Please check your network connectivity and try again." The rest of the system has network access, and Davinci itself was successfully accessing a postgres database via the network at the time of the error message.

Anyway, I'm on Resolve Studio 17b9, Linux.

Use the generate logs function as described in FAQs and post a link here with a space in the path

Will do the next time it crashes. I guess I'd better make another post for the project export bug that generates the most reliable crashes.

Link to log after crash, captured immediately after restarting application and loading project (since I don't know a way of accessing the menu without loading a project): https://download. documentarysoundguy.ca/index.php/s/dJ5x9L2ZmaxjXCD
