Editor Keyboard not fully working?

I just bought a used Davinci Resolve Editor Keyboard from Adorama. I looks to be in perfect shape. The main keys on the keyboard seem to work just fine. I just can't get the scroll wheel or the side keys to work? I'm wondering if there's a step I need to take to engage these or what? I don't want to send it back but not sure if it's defective or I'm doing something wrong? Is this supposed to be plug and play or is there software I need to download. I can't find documentation on this. I have it plugged in using USB-C.

Never mind, I figured it out. I had initially plugged it in while Resolve was already open. Once I closed and reopened Resolve it saw the keyboard and downloaded the software update. Seems to be working now.
