GoPro4 Protune FLAT looks saturated when imported in DR

PostFri Feb 19, 2021 4:46 pm

I'm using DR 17.1beta8 on an Apple M1 but I think this has nothing to do with the beta.

When I import footage in DR that was shoot with a GoPro 4 with protune and colour set to FLAT, it hardly looks flat but it's pretty saturated just playing it back on the Media tab.

Anything I should be aware in terms of setting/workflow when working with GoPro footage?

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I dont know if it's a beta issue or it's designed like that.

A good rule of thumb is if you're using the 17 beta, ask there...no matter the question.
