Hi,
I tried to install DaVinci Resolve 16 on the new computer and after few minutes it crashed. The playback video just stacked in the loop and also all video thumbnails got crashed. I can control the program but the playback view, videos and timeline are not usable. It crash the same way instantly or in few minutes after every new lunch. Audio is fine. It's the same problem with both Resolve 16 and Resolve 17. I really don't know what is the reason...
I already try:
- check and set to default settings
- try both Resolve 16 and 17
- uninstall and reinstall everything
- update win
- update graphic adapter driver

In a File Explorer window, go to:
C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
and run CaptureLogs
This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).
Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.
Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here.
If you are a new Forum user, you may not be allowed to post URLs. If this happens, just put a space near the front of the URL, so the system doesn't think it's a URL.

I tried to run CaptureLogs and create a .zip file but...
G. WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exezip warning: name not matched: Support\crash_archive.txt
zip I/0 error: No such file or directory
zip error: Could not create output file (C:/Users/Novak/Desktop/DaVinci-Resolve-logs-_188824,27.zip)

Unzip the attached file.
The attached file contains this file: CaptureLogsOneDrive.bat
Copy this file to C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
Then run the file. That will generate the Resolve log file.
Also need the .NFO file. Open the System Information app and select File - Save to generate the .NFO file.

It appears that the AMD integrated graphics of your Ryzen 5 4500U CPU are not adequate to support Resolve.

Ok
Thank You for your time.
And do You think, there is possible to change some settings or something, to work maybe even with some lags but without crashing of whole program? Because I used to work with even less powerful PC and it wasn't ideal but possible...

I can't be totally sure about that GPU, as I don't have access to one to test.
It's possible that a different graphics driver could make a difference.
The current driver on the Lenovo site for your machine doesn't appear to be what you currently have installed. So you might give that a try and see what happens.
You might as well try Resolve 17b9 as well. Possible it could behave differently with that GPU.

. Everything works fine and smooth.

OK, thanks for the feedback. Good to know that this iGPU can work with Resolve with the proper driver.
