very slow compound clipping > 5 secs per clip

Hi,
Since latest beta it is terribly slow to do compound clipping, whereas in the past it was instantly.
Please fix this and make an option to just export clips with the speed settings implemented when rendering individual clips without having to compound clip. for stock video makers this is very time consuming.

I can't duplicate this in Studio 17b9 for Windows. It's pretty instantaneous.
