ot. time code entry?

sorry, don't know where else to ask...

i've worked with tc all my career, off to online, cmx, etc., but i've never been asked the following...

i have a remote client (this is australia after all ), and we've worked with tc for years - he sends me an xlm and i simply punch in i/o's he's listed therein. no problem, however, since he's pretty much isolated he was wondering if there's any way of using excel to create a resolve readable edl - nothing more than simple i/o's, perhaps, but not importantly, reel no. that i can just load into resolve?
