Source Tape: audio files?

When I'm using the Source Tape, it entirely ignores the Audio bin. Is this by design, or am I missing something here?
The docs don't seem to specify anything about this. Well, they do specify that "Source tape lets you view all the source clips in the media pool." but that doesn't seem to be accurate.
This seems like a bug, as I can't think of a good reason to not include audio-only clips when parsing footage. Any ideas on what can I do to get audio clips included in the Source Tape?
