Rendering interlaced footage

Hello,

I'm working with the latest version of Resolve 16 Studio (16.2.8.005). My footage is DV avi PAL 4:3 interlaced (lower field first) coming from old analog video that has been digitalized. I have rendered the final output to ProRes 422 HQ, mp4 (h264 and h265), and mov. In all cases, I keep seeing the interlace lines when there is a fast movement in the scene.
In the project settings, I have enabled the Enable field processing. What else can I do to remove the interlace lines from my final output?

Thanks for any help.

So, you do not want to render interlaced, right? Then do not activate field processing, instead de-interlacing in the Clip Attributes. But I'd suggest 17 then (if you have Studio), since it offers much better de-interlacing.

Thanks for your quick reply!
If I switch to Resolve 17 Studio, can I still open the project file made in Resolve 16 Studio?

Yes, but you can't go back! So, make a full backup of your database.
