node sizing working different in two timelines

PostSun Feb 21, 2021 9:16 pm

I have a picture in picture setup on the timeline. The clips are scaled and moved on the edit page.
Now I need to zoom one of the clips "inside" its original size. I did this using node sizing using the first node. (the zoom/pan/tilt is keyframed and depends on the other clips, which I need to see in order to do the key framing)

Whats curious: It works well in the first timeline of the project, but not in the second.
On the first it zooms further in not changing its outer margins. The second timeline where I copied that exact clip to, blows the clip up. All timelines are in the same project.

Any ideas which settings could produce that difference?

I'm unfamiliar with Node Sizing, so my approach would have been to create Compound Clips and work on those.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
