qwerty keyboard not working

Using the free version of 17.0B
My keyboard cannot fill in any text fields, like Save Project, Render Filename, etc.
Is this a limitation of the free version, that you can't save your work, or is there a bug somewhere?
The keyboard works everywhere else.

This is not a restriction of the free version, something else is wrong
to help someone repo.. which specific OS, Resolve version, keyboard language in the OS, resolve language selection?

Resolve 17.0B English
Windows 10 Home 20H2
Std keyboard /English

I have an activation key for 17. That would require uninstalling and reinstalling.
Should I try that or something else first?

You can try, un install the current version and install the latest Studio version.

I have a project I've been keeping open because I can't save it. Why doesn't Resolve use a default file name when saving a new project?

Uninstalling and reinstalling and licensing resolved this problem.
