Hi!

I am very new to using PC in general as well as Davinci Resolve so please excuse anything - if you need more info please let me know.

My Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Geforce 1660 Super
16 GB Ram

Need anything else?

I cannot open Davinci Resolve. Sometimes it will open - crash sometimes and I can hear no audio as well. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work - I also tried doing some research on the audio and the info I got couldn't help - had to do with checking the BUS. Like I said I am pretty new to this but have used it edit some gaming videos just fine before this.. Any help would be appreciated.

What specific GPU driver is installed for that GPU?
it probably needs updating.

For an up to date driver for your GPU go to nvidia.com.

So I have gone and made sure it is up to date... it is.. I had followed some steps I found in a youtube video that helped me get it started. I forgot exactly what I did but I know I basically like enabled Resolve in my GPU settings - It was then supper laggy... then I found another youtube video that recommended I go into Resolve preferences and change the setting GPU processing mode from CUDO to OpenCL and it seems to be working a lot better!

NO! Actually it is lagging big time again. The playback. I tried to use the Proxy half res and tried the smart render and still not playing back well. Don't understand.. Uhg appreciate any advice

It is also not just the playback laggy - anything I try to do has input lag within Resolve.
