Voiceover Recording Issue [ADR]

PostTue Feb 23, 2021 9:23 am

In order to be able to record voiceovers [ADR] I have to disable my 4K Decklink mini monitor card or nothing works.

It then has to be re-connected and - since I use 5.1 sound - the channels re-allocated. It would be great if this could be fixed.

In Resolve's Preferences > Video and Audio I/O, is the DeckLink enabled "for playback use" only?

Is the Decklink specified as the audio device within Speaker Setup > Device?

Which other audio devices are enabled?

Thank you for your reply. The Mini Monitor is set for Playback Use whilst for Capture Use the setting is 'None'. I have two other devices,- a USB Mixer driver and a SoundBlaster Z card. I have tried a wide variety of combinations of these being on or off to no effect. Other applications such as the video editor Sony Vegas and the sound recording application Audacity have no issue with my system.
