Resolve forgets 'show all codecs setting' for remote render
Hi,
We had to change our workstations to Windows, and are now using the remote render feature to render out ProRes on a remote mac. We created a render preset for ProRes, but it seems you have to select the "Show all formats for remote rendering" option first everytime you start Resolve. It does not seem to remember this setting on restarting Resolve. Is this a bug?
It's a bit uncomfortable that Resolve does not remember this setting, because when someone selects the ProRes preset, it will automatically change it to DNxHR as it's codec when you forget to click the option first. This is not desired because there is no warning you are not creating a ProRes if you forget. You might assume the editor verifies the specifics before submitting the render job, but it happens...
Kind regards,
Nick
