Crashing

Is there a way back to an earlier version of Davinci Resolve? The new version crashes. A lot. (by which I mean every time. No log. Just dies.)

Running off an SSD. 32GB memory. GeForce RTX 2070 GPU.

Guessing you are on Windows? If so, you'll need to uninstall the current version to install an older version.

You do the uninstall using the Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features panel. Open that, right click DaVinci Resolve and select Uninstall.

Then install whatever version you desire. As long as you stay with a same major version, i.e. 16.x or 17.x, the existing project data will be available. If you install an older major version, such as going from 17.x to 16.x, then none of the 17 project data would be available in 16. Project data is not backwards compatible to an older major version.
