When Rendering, when should I check Force Debayer to Highest

When rendering, in what situations would it be advisable for me to check the Force Debayer to Highest Quality box?

When you’re using any kind of RAW footage, and you’re ready for a final render.

That might be true for BRAW, but if you were working with Sony 16 bit Raw for F55/F65 that have different types of Bayer sensors between the two cameras and accordingly a choice of appropriate debayer methods available from the raw tab, you would not want to force debayer checkbox. You would want the choice of debayer method to be selected from the raw panel.

A good rule of thumb: Always.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
