Why can't we edit keyframes in the edit tab?

PostWed Feb 24, 2021 12:41 pm

I know it pops up for simple things such as position
And I know with OPEN Fx we can go into it and adjust the actual curves, but why cant we just simply have an extra layer to move keyframes like on the picture I've uploaded

Doing it from the colour tab isn't as good since I can't see all the layers surrounding it at the same time and animate at the right time with them.

I'm using the Blur effect on this one and just want to be able to move the keyframes simply rather than adjusting curves, and the even MORE annoying thing is, if I add this effect in the edit tab and go to the colour tab, the keyframes aren't even there? I don't understand this design...

I do love Resolve but it seems they just live out some fairly simple stuff sometimes.

I am seeing some strange behavior in Studio 17b9 for Windows.

I can open and access keyframes on the clip with intrinsic effects like Zoom and Position, but I can't with OpenFX applied to the clip. Clicking the keyframe icon on the clip does absolutely nothing.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

So, are these keyframes supposed to be included here and it's just a bug that they aren't? Or has it always been designed like this?

Was using Guassian blur today and saw there are no keyframes for that as well.
Anyone have any idea why?
