I have several videos in the Media pool which I have synced manually from a digital clapper I held up during the first few moments of a Zoom recorded meeting. (They have the two arrows chasing each other in the upper left corner of each clip.) Although I synced these early on, I have only used one of these clips in my edits so far. At this point I have a large number of edits in the timeline where I have cut out sections, added in title clips, and the like.
Is it possible to lay another one of the synced clips on top of a heavily edited timeline, and have the other clip line up?
Some of these are Zoom cloud recordings which share a common timestamp. Two others are a local Zoom recording, and an OBS recording of what was showing in my camera. The timestamp in these two others are not the same as the Zoom cloud recording timestamps. There are about 2.5hrs of raw footage in each clip.
This is my first time using Davinci. I used iMovie once years ago, but otherwise I have not done much video editing in the past. All the videos and tutorials I found dealing with syncing clips don't address what happens when you wish to add something from the Media pool you haven't used yet, but after one has made lots of other edits. I suspect my problem is a novice mistake. I'm starting to see the value of universal time codes in everything.
