hi,
davinci resolve studio crashed and i can`t open it anymore. I think I have to install again but I didn`t save my project files somewhere (MAC!) They are not on my project server. Can somebody help or knows how I can start Davinci again without installing it again.

If your project files are in the default location, they should still be there after a fresh install of DR.
Of course, it's always possible that the crash damaged the database too, but then the blame is on you for not making backups.

In Finder, go to /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve, and run CaptureLogs.

Ignore the error if you get one.

Send us the file it created on your Desktop.

...this is the file it created, didn´t find anything

Your config files are corrupt, is why Resolve is not launching.

In this folder:

/Users/thomasobermeir/Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve

There is a config.dat and a config.dat.bak file. Both are corrupt.

Delete both those files.

Unzip the attached config.zip file. It unzips to a config.dat file.

Copy the config.dat file into the folder above.

Duplicate the file, and name the duplicate config.dat.bak

Now Resolve should start.

The folder above is in a hidden folder (/Users/thomasobermeir/Library). You won't see it in Finder. Use the Finder Go - Go to Folder menu to get to this folder.
