Version 17.0 just released I cannot apply any of them to the video. some I can see in preview by scrubbing with others nothing not even preview. I need some of those effects. I guess ill have to extend my adobe cc.

Did it work for you in 16?
If not, tell us a bit more about what you are trying to do. Even beta 9 has been working fine for us on a first commercial project.

Can you name these transitions/effects, maybe show us some screenshots on how they appear broken?

Captured logs from the help menu, and additional detail on OS, hardware, drivers, GPU processing mode, color science, whether you're on 17 Free or 17 Studio etc would help too...

Yes they worked great but since 17 some betas worked better than others this one is the worst for me.
I open the effects start with transitions all the way down to fusion.

I can see all the transitions in preview by scrubbing them but when I drag to the timeline they nothing happens.

The same with fusion except glitch wont preview

The rest I haven't tried.

Resolve fx color the same.

Its driving me nuts

I can preview all of them by scrubbing but when I put a clip (mp4) most of the transitions and effects don't even preview much less apply.

I have studio, windows 10 . gpu nv 2060 set to performance, latest studio driver, that all I have. I'll upload the logs tomorrow, not able to do it now..

I would like to upload screenshots I've tried but never been able to load any image only YT videos.

Nect place the cursor where you want the image to appear, and click 'Place Inline'

Ricardo, to add a screen shot(s) with your post, click on Upload attachment. Then click on Choose File and select the pic from the browser window and click Open. Click Add the file and then Submit.
You can add up to 3 pics in a post. The pic size is also limited to 1MB and it will tell you if it is too large.

This is an actual thing.

I have been trying to use a Push transition between two clips with motion blur and ease in & out on a 1080x1080 1:1 timeline. When playing back the sequence in the Edit tab it there's a glitch in the middle of the transition - it freezes for a moment and continues. It doesn't matter if I have the render cache on or off; it's the same every time in the Edit tab.

HOWEVER: The transition plays back correctly in the Cut tab, Color tab, the Fairlight tab and in the Deliver tab regardless of whether I use render cache or not.

Andrew, can you check if you have "automatically select under playhead" or "sync selection to media pool" enabled? If yes, does disabling them make a difference?

When I said its broken I meant that it did not work. Id does bot show anything.

I delivered the project earlier today. When I come back to it now, the transitions work smoothly in every tab. How infuriating!

I can tell you that I did have "automatically select under playhead" switched on. I normally don't have that on, so that's a difference vs. "normal" for me. I'm not at all familiar with the "sync selection to media pool" so I would guess that's set for whatever the default is.
