Although it is not "officially" supporting mac OSX 10.14.6, should we give it a try?

I would like someone from the BlackMagic team explaining us what has changed in the last 2 weeks to have a Public Beta 9 supporting Mojave, to a 17.0 not supporting it?

Thanks,

Based on things in the pipeline, and that a lot of new users are coming to Resolve we build and test on Big Sur and Catalina. Mojave should work, but we don’t guarantee with future updates.

Thanks Peter, you are always here to answer and I appreciate that.

I will backup databases and give it a try. It will not require a Database upgrade from Resolve 17.0 Beta 3 to Resolve 17.0 right?

No database updates. However there are quite a few changes in behavior between b3 and the non-beta version.

I would advise you to backup your databases in case you find a difference in behavior and wish to go back to beta 3 to finish an ongoing project. The project manager has convenient Backup and Restore buttons on top of its left pane (database listing).

I've been working all day long under Mojave without a hitch.
