Audio issues with 17

It's been working fine for me for a long time, suddenly today while I'm hitting next and previous frame in the edit tab, to cut down things perfectly, it will get confused and start playing audio from a few frames either way (it seems random)

Playing back in real time is fine, and when I first pause it to change frames it works for a few frame skips, then randomly gets out of sync with itself again until I press play.

Any idea what might be causing this? It's becoming a pain since the client forgot to record camera audio so I'm manually matching audio to lip movements which is pretty hard when the next/previous frame is playing something different to the waveform

( on top of this, I had the audio glitching at one point as well until I reset it )

My tracks are also playing out of sync with one another randomly, until I restart the project and then they seem to be fine again. This seems to happen when I drag some footage in over the top of everything not sure why this would cause that

I've had to re open the project about 10 times today with this happening. I just moved over from Premiere because of all their bugs I can't get lucky

When I am hitting the next and previous frame I can actually hear it slightly playing two different points... it's weird, it's playing a few frames ahead and then randomly skips to the correct frame for a few clicks then goes off again

What OS and hardware do you have? Which file formats are you seeing this problem with? Is it uncompressed LPCM audio, or mp3/aac compressed source?

Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, 32GB Ram, GTX1070

Yeah it's LPCM Audio, recorded through a mixer into Audition and then exported as a wav brought into Resolve :)

Any idea what the issue is?

Is this behaviour isolated to the Edit page or is it also reproducible on the Fairlight page?

Are you running the release version of 17 or an earlier beta?

Is this specific to a project for you? Or is it possible for you to send us a sample project?

Dave,

Just to cover bases, can you also include an NFO file and a sample recorded audio file in the link when you post it? Please also add a URL to the mixer/audio interface you're using to record this file.

Thanks
Shrinivas

Hey! I've included everything in this Google Drive File Linked
Added a little video to show some audio issues but obviously it wasn't as prominent as soon as I decided to show you  the out of sync audio compared to the waveforms only happened this morning on this project and it was fine before, so I've showed that as well since it appears to happen mainly when I drag footage onto a timeline.

The Scrubbing issue is also usually much more prominent but you can hear it in the example video I sent :)

Let me know if there's anything else I can add!
