[Linux] How to install fonts for Fusion?

PostThu Feb 25, 2021 5:16 pm

Maybe tis question has been asked and answered before. I have been googling for the better part of the day and couldn't find anything. I'm also somewhat noobish (not in terms of Linux but Resolve) :

I am using Resolve on Manjaro, which is not officially supported, I know, but this should be the same for all Linux distros. I just haven't tried to replicate this on any other system.

Fonts I have manually installed don't show up in Resolve. Those are fonts I have moved to /usr/local/share/fonts, the place those files are supposed to go, to be visible by all users. Instead only fonts installed via the package manager show up.

How am I supposed to install fonts? Packaging fonts for this is unrealistic (at least for me).

Check the config files in `/etc/fonts/conf.d/` to make sure one of them loads the fonts from where you put them.
Resolve Studio - Ryzen 5800X3D - AMD RX6600 / NVidia RTX 4070 (switching between the 2) - Linux
