dynamic loss in render and can't render gpu full memory

PostThu Feb 25, 2021 5:19 pm

hello all

i am gonna try to be as clear as possible.

i have a project i have been working on.
my clips are 4k dci dnxhr 4444 12bit made from proresraw files. color space is rec2020 and gamma is panasonic vlog
i work under resolve 16, timeline set to 2.5k rcm set to rec709

i have multiple clips, few fusion and coumpound clips too.
i have done my editing my grading, everything is ready to render.
most of my clips have a first node for noise reduction that i do using neat video 4

when i want to render my timeline i quickly have the gpu memory full problem. actually resolve tells me memory is full before i even try to render.

i tried to render to h264, h265 and dnxhr, always the same problem.

so what i tried to do is to export some clips, mostly fusion and coumpound clips using dnxhr 4444 12bit so i can replace clips using nr in my timeline with "baked" clips.

problem is that when i import those clips i notice some difference in contrat and latitude, the "baked" clips are flatter, less contrast and lower highlights. there is a difference in scopes.
i have less dynamic

when rendering i keep colorspace tag and gamma tag as "same as project", i also tried to change these to rec2020 but have worst issues with colors.

thanks

Check for "Full range" vs. "Video range".
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
