Speed editor's "jog button"

PostThu Feb 25, 2021 6:16 pm

Hi there!

I've had my speed editor for not too long and already love it. I noticed you can push the jog wheel, but haven't been able to find any info regarding on whether it's an actionable input or just a clicky thing that helps me keep my OCD on check.

Anyone knows? Apologies if it's already been mentioned, I did search for it and found zip, zero, nada.

So... no clues? I thought it could maybe work as an "on" button for BT... but now it seems like BT is just always on, which is kinda strange, gotta say.

I see! Guess my forum search skills aren't as good as they used to be as a teenager.

Interesting, I had no idea it did that. It takes quite a bit of effort to activate the click, and in almost every case it is going to move the playhead when you press it. So whatever they decide to make it do, it will need to be something that is not dependent on the playhead position. My vote is to have it blink one of the LEDs on the SHTL, JOG, or SCRL buttons for a few seconds depending on current battery level.
