How to embed audio into video

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to embed audio into video inside DR?

I'm not referring to linking them, I really mean embed, same as when you record video and sound in your camera then import this file into DR.

If you have a video with embedded audio the cut page will show 1 track containing video and audio instead of 2 separate tracks.

Thats not really an internal function. If you want two different files to be seen as 1 file, as you describe, then put them together on a timeline, export it as a new file, and bring it back in.

It is "embedded" because it is 1 file in the first place, not because of some magic voodoo that the box is doing. There are plenty of programs that can do a rewrap of video to avoid quality loss, while allowing you to swap out the audio file, giving you a new master file with embedded audio.

Magic voodoo . I thought with a set of magic words I could make it happen.
