Original (HD) BMPCC and ACES

I've got ye olde BMPCC (not the 4K, the original HD one)(yes, really), and I'm wondering if it's possible to use it as part of an ACES colour workflow? If so, is it preferable to use RAW or ProRes, or will both work?
