Resolve 17 official release for Apple silicon M1?

Hi,
Happy to see 17 is finally out of beta. The beta channels got forked with 17 and 17.1, which touted M1 support. Have those been merged now, or we should still wait for 17.1 for M1 machines?

Please also clarify it in 17's release notes, there's no word on Intel vs. Apple CPU in the Mac compatibility section.
