Failed to install DaVinci Resolve Panels: 17 Update Issue!!

Hello all,
I have been using Davinci Resolve for the past several months for some fairly basic editing. When I opened the program today it prompted me to install the update, which I did.
During the update it came up with an error message of "Failed to install DaVinci Resolve Panels. Continue with others components?" I initially selected yes, finished install, and when I tried to open the program it prompted, "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least 6 times, restarted my computer between each one, tried installing the newest version and the previous one, selecting no on the install error message. Everything I've tried has come back to these same results. I need this program to finish a project that's due tomorrow, can anyone please advise?

I'm not super tech literate, so easy to understand answers please!

Press the red "Download" button.

Now check "vc_redist.x64.exe", and press "Next":

Wait, and it will start downloading automatically after some seconds.

After download concludes, install "vc_redist.x64.exe".

When installation is completed, try to install Resolve again.

As a side note, you don't need to check "Davinci Control Panels" when installing Resolve (unless you have bought this panel, as it's a physical hardware).

Thank you so much for this. All I needed to do was disable my windows defender & uncheck resolve panels.
