Resolve 17 - Keeps Crashing after update

Hi,

I updated from 16 to 17 yesterday (together with an update to Big Sur).
I did backup my old DB before upgrading.

Resolve 17 upgraded the DB which seemed to work fine - i am able to open all projects.
But as soon as i try to play a timeline - or click to a different frame - resolve crashes.

The same thing happens when i start a new project - as soon as i try to open footage, everything crashes.
Even when i create a whole new Database to do so.

Tried to go back to 16 - same Issue
Tried to Uninstall and Re-install (both 16 and 17) - same issue.

Did anyone else experience something like this? Any suggestions?

Running on a 2019 Mac Pro with AMD Radeon Pro Vega II.

Same thing with me, i have resolve studio 19, 2019 Mac Pro that just came out and i had an active project. updated to big Sirl anot now crashed when i try play the timeline. i guess ill wait for a response.

it looks like i fixed it, maybe this helps you as well:

i don't know what exactly fixed it but after doing the following everything seems to be back to normal:

1. i uninstalled everything "blackmagic" not just resolve - also the other "side programs" like the player etc.
2. went into the "library" folder and deletet the blackmagic folder there (i made a backup - just in case)
3. restartet
4. re-installed resolve 17

Anyone find a fix for this? I'm still having this issue with 17.1. I've completely deleted all support files and reinstalled several times. No dice.

I'm on macOS 10.14.6.

Resolve had been working just fine, all of a sudden today, nope!
