DR17 beta 8 and 9 problem with "checking licenses" fixed

problem with program stopping at "checking licenses" seems to be fixed with DR17 release today (feb26,2021). Program started as expected without trouble.
AMD Threadripper 1950x 16-core 3.4 GHz
96 GB Crucial DDR4 2666 ECC UDIMM RAM
