Davinci Resolve Crashing

I have several computers that are running different versions of Davinci. The program coninues to crash or doesn't open at all.
The first one I'm working on had version 16. When I looked in the control panel, it looked as if one of the parts of the program that should have been there was missing. So I uninstalled everything and installed the latest version. That doesn't open at all and it doesn't look like it installed according to the control panel.
It completed the installation process without error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI we have several other computers that are running it without problems.
