Pocket 4K/6K color science v5 - LUTs?

Hi there,
As BMD announced in it's recent event, both the 4K and 6K pocket cameras will receive a firmware update in the next few weeks bringing them both to color science v5. Does anyone know if this will be an optional setting or will the cameras from that firmware on just shoot in color science v5? I would assume that all LUTs that we might have for these cameras, either custom made or purchased, won't work after that and must all be redone, correct?
I know we can shoot RAW and change color science in Resolve in Post, that does already work right now for color science v5. But if you use LUTs in camera for let's say quick turnaround with minimal post or for livestreaming / studio production where LUTs might be used during the recording process, this might be a slight problem. Any thoughts on this?

You mean LUTs in camera with .braw? You can still change them after the fact. The only way you couldn't is if you were recording prores with a baked-in LUT.

I'm guessing that it'll be optional in the camera, but time will tell.

If they add Gen5 to the Color Space Transform node, you could use that for backwards compatibility with your old LUTs. You could probably build a Gen5->Gen4 conversion LUT yourself, it just wouldn't be as accurate.

Right, yes I was refering to baked in workflows with Prores or livestream events and studio production where you would capture the image externally and have the LUTs in camera.
