I am new to DaVinci Resolve but only want to do some fairly basic video editing.
I need to add some still images to the video, but when I import the images they do not load properly, but instead appear as either black previews or 'strange' looking. I have tried with both png and jpeg files. I have also changed the location of these files and had no luck.
When I add the stills to the editor it flashes black, then to the still, then back to black, like frames. I have edited the preferences for 'standard still duration' to a variety of frames and seconds to no avail!
It is strange because initally on loading Resolve, the images all appear but after a bit of editing they stop working. Videos are loading fine. I've attached an image of what it looks like on screen.
Searching hasn't helped, reading the manual hasn't helped either, so anything would be much appreciated! Thanks a lot!!
