Hi there,
I have been using Davinci Resolve 17 for about a month now and now all of a sudden, the timeline is very laggy. I am editing a 3 minute long video with 2.7k footage with a mix between 60fps and 24fps clips. I only 3 days left to edit (I was entered into a video editing contest). I have tried everything and watched every video possible to help me with the issue. I have changed my timeline proxy mode, I have changed optimized media and rendered cache in the master settings, I have changed render cache to smart, I have deleted and reinstalled all render caches, it takes an extreme amount of time to generate optimized media (I have every video already edited in the timeline), I have updated davinci resolve to the latest version, I have updated my windows 10, I have updated both my graphic cards (Intel R Iris r plus graphics and NVIDIA Geforce mx 230), I have changed my graphics settings to my geforce graphics card only, I have 16 gbs of ram and 1 terabyte of storage, I changed my system's virtual memory settings, I have changed the compatibility settings, and NOTHING IS WORKING. I have a Dell Inspiron 3793 laptop which is capable of handling davinici resolve. My video is due in 3 days and I do not know what else to do. I have tried every possible solution and looked everywhere. This forum is my last hope.
