I upgraded to resolve 17 studio, and seems I cannot get audio out working during playback. The audio renders fine in the output video, and I can see audio waveform and meters activity during playback, but no sound comes out during playback

Input Track is Canon R5 4K video:
* Video: H265 Main 4:2:2 10 L6.2 59.940 fps 4096x2160
* Audio: AAC 48 khz 2Ch

Project is set at same resolution, frame rate and audio sampling rate

Reading some more, I have also made sure that my Audio Track (Audio 1) has Bus Outputs set to Bus 1, and both Audio 1 and Bus 1 meters are active during playback

I have 3 audio out interfaces, and it doesn't matter which one I use. iMac Pro speakers, LG Ultrafine 4k monitor speakers (thunderbolt connectivity) or headphones

I am running out of ideas having spent a whole day on this. Didn't see anything obvious reading through the resolve manual. Would appreciate any inputs to help figure this out

My Setup:
iMac Pro 2020, running MacOS Big Sur
64GB RAM
Vega 56 GPU

I have solved this myself after some more experimentation. Posting here in case someone else runs into this

I had to go into Fairlight tab, then Menu -> Fairlight -> Patch Input/Output and then assign my output Bus to my Speaker Output device

I don't know why it was not auto assigned on my desktop iMac, because when I installed Resolve 17 on my macbook, it was automatically mapped and worked fine out of the box
