Running Resolve Studio 17 beta 9, I ran into a problem with my USB microphone. Recordings of voiceover audio had extreme distortion and was unusable. I experimented with various input chains like mono and stereo, but nothing changed. I muted the live playback as I could hear it distorting in the live feedback. I closed all apps that could possibly be conflicting. In other apps such as windows voice recorder and Zoom, the USB mic works great with perfect sound.

Any thoughts on a fix?

I uninstalled beta 9 and installed 17.0 release. Recordings are perfect now.
