Color Viewer Not responding to LUT in Color Preferences

Seem this question has been asked several times with no resolution. I'm running Resolve 17 released version. Selecting a LUT in the Viewer Lookup has no effect. Selecting the same LUT in Monitor changes the monitor and the viewer. "Hide User Overlay" is unchecked. Why doesn't the Viewer Lookup LUT work?

I love it when I find my own answer....
If any gamut is selected other than Rec709, the color viewer lookup LUT seems to be ignored.
