Rolling Credits - also exploding

I've tried to watch YT videos but haven't seen a clear view of how one creates rolling credits at the end of a video.
Would you please share how they're created?
Also, does one need to use Blender to animate end credits so they explode like a bomb?
Say you want the credit to appear for a couple of seconds but then blow up.
Is that a Blender feature or can it be done in DR alone?
