DR17 viewer profile problems
Posted: Sun Feb 28, 2021 12:09 amHi, is anyone having problems on iMac where the viewer image is much darker (gamma shift) than it should be.
When I first loaded DR17, I set up color management as Davinci Wide Gamut and timeline to Rec-709A everything looked great, all files are tagged properly, Quicktime playback matched timeline viewer.
2nd Day started DR17, the Viewer is much darker as if it has had a gamma shift, the thumbnails and the scopes look okay.
After changing color management settings to be non-color managed and restarting DR17, viewers are back to normal. Changing back to Color Managed and restarting DR17 and the viewers are back to normal.
Restarting DR17 without changing color management settings and it's hit or miss if the viewer will have a gamma shift again.
Any suggestions?
