DaVinci Resolve "Unsupported GPU Processing Mode" on Ubuntu

I am running Ubuntu 20.10 with the AMD GPUPro 20.45 drivers installed on the system. I have an RX 5700 XT graphics card. I am using the non studio version on DaVinci Resolve.

Upload the debug logs somewhere and post a link : $HOME/.local/share/DaVinciResolve/logs/ResolveDebug.txt
(new user can't paste urls so ... just add a space in the middle or something).

Oh so ... gpu detection failed to find any GPU ...
- You're using Xorg and not Wayland right ?
- Can you post the output of `glxinfo` ?

Yeah, the AMD GPUPro 20.45 drivers are Xorg only AFAIK and they are required for resolve.
The glxinfo you pasted shows it's using mesa stuff and not the AMD drivers.

Since the AMD drivers are not supported on Ubuntu 20.10 and I was too lazy to downgrade I did some major tinkering to get them to work and that is probably the reason why DaVinci doesn't work at all. I guess I will have to downgrade to 20.4 after all.

Some people got those drivers to run even on other distros (arch / manjaro), but always using Xorg AFAIK.
