resolve deletes fusion comps

Hello, I've searched about this and couldn't find anything related, close to this but not the same.
I have a project with several fusion comps. I spent days in those comps and they became heavy to render. So I added a saver node to everyone of them and rendered all my saver nodes in .exr sequences.
Then I replaced all the exr sequences in the timeline and now the entire movie renders much faster. Great, so now I need to modify a little thing in a previously rendered fusion comp, but every fusion comp was deleted from my project. They are not in the media pool, they just don't exist anymore. All I have left are those rendered sequences. I can not redo all the steps I made, It will take forever and will be really hard, almost impossible, to get the exact same results. Where are those comps?
It was probably several days ago, but I just realized this now. In the project backups are only backups with the fusion comps already replaced by the exr sequences.
I don't know if I am missing some step, as I come from an After Effects background and I do this all the time to get faster previews and renders, and the comps are always available.
Has this happened to anyone before? Can someone help me on this?
Thank you all!
