All projects gone after Windows update

I recently updated Resolve from 16 to 17, updated the 16 database to work with 17, and everything seemed to be working. All of my projects were there in Resolve 17. I had a different problem though where Resolve was getting stuck on "Loading Fairlight Page" for minutes. I tried some possible solutions I read like uninstalling and reinstalling Resolve 17 and installing the latest graphics driver. Neither of those things fixed the loading problem but my projects were still there. Then I updated Windows 10 because that's something else I saw someone recommend, and now Resolve 17 loads fast but all my projects are gone. Is there any way to get them back? I didn't expect that from just updating Windows. Maybe there's something else that happened that caused it but I don't know what it could be.

I remembered I had a backup database from 16, but when I try to restore it I get BtException: Driver not loaded Driver not loaded.
