davinci resolve studio wont install

Hi i have a macbook 2015 (mid) that is running Mojave and ive bought a bmpcc6k that comes with davinci resolve studio but every time i try activating the key it gives me an error that says " there was an error when attempting to perform the activation . please contact blackmagic design support for help "

Try downloading the v17 from the BMD web support page.
Make sure u get the studio version

u probably have a firewall on, or your ISP is blocking connection to the USA based license server.

Apparently my firewall is off although im not sure what the (ISP) thing you mentioned means how can i access that if i wanted to solve this problem ?? thanks
