A more precise way to cut to an audio track?

Is it possible to cut in between a single frame?

I'm working with a a very fast and busy audio track (~170BPM) and I'm looking to have lots of quick synchronized cuts that "strobe" accurately on very fast audio transients in the track (often time triplets, etc). Sometimes pushing/pulling even one frame puts me well in front of or behind a transient I want to hit.

I'm well aware of many people's aversion to cutting on the beat so please spare me your editing ideology

Thank you!

I don't think so.
The only thing you can do is to work with higher framerate.

Yes, it is. Uncheck "Align audio edits to frame boundaries" in Preferences/User/Editing.
