Greetings all,

I have really been enjoying working with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K RAW footage. I find myself on a project here now, however, where I'm going to need to do some additional compositing work on this footage. Could someone please suggest the optimum output settings in resolve 17 for outputting footage that will now be taken into another program for compositing work.

Is there a way to output the Blackmagic RAW format? I'd like to find a codec that will be close to lossless in quality and have as small a footprint as possible. The small file size is not mandatory but would help.

Thanks in advance to everyone for your help!

Best regards,

Rip

Small file size and lossless is a contradiction, and BRAW can't be exported.
A good compromise are ProRes, Cineform, or DNxHR in one of their their highest quality settings.
The perfect solution is an image sequence like EXR, but you'll need some space.
