I have replaced Resolve 16 with Resolve 17. The installation seems to go properly, but when I attempt to open 17, I get the following error message

When I attempt to upgrade my NVIDIA driver, I'm told that I have the latest version.
If I select "Update Configuration" I get a dialog box with a bunch of entry boxes which I don't understand.
I wanted to try to manually select OpenCL but don't know how to do that.

How can I use Resolve 17 without having to buy a whole new computer?

What Nvidia GPU do you have? I ask as your present GPU may not be compatible with CUDA 11 so you would need to upgrade it.

Which exact version of Resolve 16 did you upgrade from? Using words like latest in regards to GPU drivers is meaningless. You need to tell us the exact version. For instance, I am using Studio 461.40.
As it says in the message the GPU driver you have currently installed is not compatible with CUDA 11 and needs updating. Go to nvidia.com and get the latest driver for your GPU there.

In Preferences select Memory and GPU, uncheck the tick next to GPU processing mode Auto, and manually select OpenCL instead of CUDA.
