Can't Hear Audio of Video I'm editing, but it has audio

So I'm editing video. The video has audio. It's lav audio, so one channel is the speaker the other is silence. When I go to edit it I can hear it just fine in the Cut section but I can't hear it in the Edit section. I can see the waveforms, I can see the mixer recognize the audio, but I can't hear the audio. I've tried changing the audio properties in the clip attribute and playing with the bus in fairlight, but just nothing works. Kind of at my wits end here.
